Practical air brake training for Class 2, 3, 4 and 5 single-unit operators — including firefighters, paramedics and RV drivers.

Hands-on Air Brake preparation

Learn on an air-brake-equipped vehicle in three practical, one-on-one sessions. For the booked practical test, our driver brings the vehicle to the MPI test centre.

Entrance requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Hold a full Class 5 licence or the appropriate higher class.
  • Pass the Air Brake knowledge test and obtain authorized training on your licence.
  • Have your practical test booked.

Flexible start dates

Training is one-on-one, with no fixed class start dates. Students can generally begin 1–4 weeks after registration, depending on availability. To register, meet all entrance requirements, pay the $400 non-refundable registration fee and have your MPI test booked.
